JEFFREY JONES
VICE PRESIDENT, OPPORTUNITY MANAGEMENT
Jeffrey Jones currently serves as Buchanan & Edwards Vice President of Opportunity Management. He is responsible for managing BE’s proposal response capabilities, including opportunity tracking, forecasting, capture management support, and proposal management. Additionally, Jeff is responsible for working with BE executives for the development, execution, measurement, and improvement of the sales operations processes in support of corporate business development initiatives.
Jeff has over 25 years of diversified experience across multiple disciplines, including capture and proposal management, program and project management, data analytics, quality assurance, and systems design and development. He has worked for both small and large businesses, and has proven success establishing, driving, and managing full company proposal response and management capabilities. Mr. Jones has served in several senior client-facing roles across Federal and commercial clients, managing and growing major client programs and enhancing overall customer retention / satisfaction.
Prior to joining Buchanan & Edwards, Mr. Jones served as the Vice President of Opportunity Management for TeraThink, as well as served in a variety of Business Development and Delivery positions with Guident Technologies, Accenture, and American Management Systems (now part of CGI).
Jeff holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech, is a member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP), and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
