Daniel Smith, founder, and former CEO of RenXTech (previously known as Renegade Technology) leverages his expertise gained through 20 years of Cyber and Operational experience to support business and growth in the National Security space.
Founded by Smith in 2014, RenXTech quickly became recognized as a dynamic and effective company that, under Smith’s leadership, exceled at building teams and relationships within the National Security space. Through hands-on engagement and his servant leadership approach, Smith helped in growing RenXTech to a $30M+ company in just seven years.
In 2021 Smith sold RenXTech to BE, playing a prominent role in the organization’s acquisition, which was later recognized at the ACG National Capital Corporate Growth Awards Winning Deal of the Year, under $50M. Leading the company through a very successful integration, Smith continued as RenXTech’s President running day-to-day operations and was named as a Finalist for the Washington Exec Intelligence Executive of the Year Award in 2023.
Daniel served in the United States Army and later graduated Summa Cum Laude from Strayer University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
