CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Carter Wood is Buchanan & Edward’s Chief Financial Officer. As a member of the executive team, Carter plays a critical role in the areas of strategic planning and analysis, capital financing, budgeting, rate design and development, mergers and acquisitions, end-to-end accounting operations and corporate financial management.
With nearly 25 years of experience in accounting & finance, Carter excels at leading change and growing government contractors through M&A as well as organic growth. He began his career at Deloitte as a public accountant and has served in leadership roles at Stanley (acquired by CGI), Cognosante, and Buchanan & Edwards, where he served as CFO from 2012-2015.
Carter graduated from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Carter is a Certified Public Accountant.
