Buchanan & Edwards Promotes Mohamed Elansary to VP, Global Operations

Buchanan & Edwards (BE) is proud to announce the promotion of Mohamed Elansary to Vice President, Global Operations. Mohamed joined BE in 2013 as the Director of Law Enforcement, National Security and Defense business units where he oversaw operations and business development efforts for multiple BE accounts including FBI, DOD DISA and USDA. In his new role, Mohamed will be responsible for service delivery operations to BE’s customers. Additionally, Mohamed will support growth through ensuring high delivery standards as well as leveraging customer relationships to expand existing work and identify new work opportunities.  As a key member of the leadership team, Mohamed will also help shape strategic planning and policy.

Mohamed is a high-performing, results-oriented executive and a certified PMP with over 15 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of the commercial and federal civilian IT market. While at BE, Mohamed has assumed oversight and responsibility for business development and account management of the law enforcement and national security business units, doubled the size of the law enforcement business unit, led the launch of the BE Communities of Practice and has been actively involved in strategic planning and vision for the firm.

Mohamed excels in providing transformational leadership to the federal government and commercial clients through the use of innovative technologies and best business practices. He is a subject matter expert in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing having deployed the CEB, USPS, US Courts, and DC Courts Enterprise Data Warehouses.

Prior to BE, Mohamed served as the Director of Judiciary Services for Guident. He served in a number of increasingly responsible positions starting with Arthur Andersen Business Consulting where he started his professional career as a Consultant and Senior Consultant, Beta Programs Manager for MicroStrategy, Professional Services Manager for CAST Software, Project Manager for Anteon (GDIT), and Director of IT for Corporate Executive Board (CEB).
