Buchanan & Edwards Hosts BE 2.0 Open House
Buchanan & Edwards (BE) is hosting the BE 2.0 Open House at the new corporate office location in Arlington. Earlier this year, BE relocated to a newly-designed office above the Rosslyn metro at 1700 N. Moore Street.
The Open House will have advanced technology demos hosted by BE practice leads that will showcase the functionalities of our new corporate headquarters. Demos will cover BE’s Emergency Management Notification System, that was recently named a finalist in this year’s Nintex Partner awards, Data Visualization, Staff Collaboration, Floor Plan demonstrations and Training and Change Management using LMS and SharePoint.
BE 2.0 is the next generation of the BE workplace—a forward-thinking perspective on technology and a promising outlook of the future of BE and its clients. This new space has been designed with the client-side staff in mind; it features a range of meeting rooms and supplemental workstations for remote staff to use onsite. Wi-Fi touchdown stations enable BE visiting staff and clients to stay connected.
There is also a CTO Innovation Lab which is designed to promote the active development of new solutions and to foster team collaboration and strategy. Every feature and amenity of this new space was thoughtfully designed to support BE’s vision and promote innovation.
In addition, the office offers multiple, flexible spaces for team work and interoffice networking. For instance, BE’s “war room” is an informal conference room that gives staff a collaborative space to brainstorm on wall-to-wall white boards. The employee lounge, which overlooks Rosslyn, offers a comfortable space for employees to work or relax. The lounge’s treadmill, wrap-around windows and informal seating encourage both openness and wellness to foster creativity. BE’s innovative culture also manifests itself in details like yoga balls scattered around the office that continue to inspire employee wellness, while the white boards and scrum wall allow for accessible project planning and brainstorming.
