WASHINGTON, Nov. 1, 2018 — Buchanan & Edwards Inc., an award-winning and fast-growing technology leader creating transformative solutions for government customers, announced today that Cal Shintani has joined the company as chief growth officer. In this new role, Shintani will be leading corporate business development, marketing and communications and will work in tandem with the CEO and the CFO on strategies and management of future mergers and acquisitions.

With over 30 years of experience in the government technology industry, Shintani has served as CGO of HighPoint Global and Oceus Networks and has worked in business development and P&L roles at companies including CACI, Gray Hawk Systems, Veridian and BTG. Shintani is also an ACT-IAC fellow and has served as industry chair of its Voyagers Mentors-Protégé program. He is also a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association and the Professional Services Council.

Shintani is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, where he earned a Bachelor of Science. He also received a master’s degree in national security studies from Georgetown University.
