BE Awarded Deal of the Year, Under $50M, at the 20th Annual ACG National Capital Corporate Growth Awards

WASHINGTON, September 8, 2022 — Buchanan & Edwards Inc., an award-winning and fast-growing technology leader delivering transformative solutions to the national security community, was presented the Deal of the Year Award, Under $50M, for their acquisition of RenXTech at the 20th Annual ACG National Capital Corporate Growth Awards.

On June 8th, ACG National Capital presented Corporate Growth Awards to the region’s leading executives and businesses at their 20th Annual Corporate Growth Awards Gala in McLean Virginia. These prestigious awards recognize the most transformational deals, top executives, and fastest-growing companies within one of the country’s largest economies, and most active deal communities.

"We are honored to have had our acquisition of RenXTech recognized as ACG’s Deal of the Year, under $50 million. This deal came together flawlessly, and I am so incredibly proud to have been part of it.” said Eric Olson, CEO of BE. “RenXTech was a great fit for us in every category. Culturally, their focus on the customer, the mission, and their employees paralleled ours. We share common values with their team, including our companies’ shared purpose of solving challenges of national security significance to protect the American People. We want to thank KippsDeSanto & Co. and Aronson for the award nomination, and Agreeance for their buyside M&A support during the acquisition.”

Corporate Growth Awards are presented to the executives, companies, and deal teams individually selected by the chapter’s Awards Committee from a long list of nominations for their accomplishments in crafting and executing successful growth strategies. BE’s acquisition of RenXTech was the result of a decade-long relationship built on a strong foundation of trust, collaboration, and mission dedication.  The acquisition stood out as one of the most compelling deals in the National Capital Region’s incredibly crowded and competitive business community.

“While many companies have flourished in a rebounding, post-COVID economy, these executives, deals, and organizations stood alone as the most impressive in the past year. These are truly some of the most impressive organizations and individuals that we’ve honored in the storied, twenty-year history of these awards,” said Andy McEnroe, the 2022 Corporate Growth Awards Committee Chair and a Managing Director in the Defense and Government Services Investment Banking group at Raymond James.

“By merging RenXTech with our other wholly owned subsidiary, the R2C, we have become a dominant player in the IC, nearly doubling our market share” said Tara Davey, COO of BE. “We are now one of the largest mid-sized companies delivering cyber, technical, analytical, and operational support to critical missions within the classified customer space and provide mission-critical full-spectrum cyber and advanced solutions for highly sensitive and classified mission priorities.”
