Truman Building in Washington, D.C. This educational forum and IT expo reflects their mission to empower diplomacy, consular services and development, by providing access to information and technology solutions. Exhibitors—both small business and prime contractors—will showcase Mobile Computing products and services that can be utilized by the U.S. Government. The forum is open to all State Department personnel. Buchanan & Edwards will be demonstrating our latest mobile capabilities including:
- EM1 Application: EM1 was designed to assist federal customers in their abilities to help ensure the safety of agency personnel, infrastructure and facilities. Using a series of processes and reporting functions, EM1 helps agencies to rapidly notify targeted personnel of emergencies (real or anticipated) and monitor their safety during the emergency.
- Smart Traveler Application: Smart Traveler, the official State Department mobile app for U.S. travelers, invites you to see the world with easy access to frequently updated official country information, travel alerts, travel warnings, maps, U.S. embassy locations, and more. Buchanan & Edwards is under contract with the U.S. Department of State, to deliver operations and maintenance services for Smart Traveler and to help update for new releases to the Apple Store and Google Play.
…and I hear there will be cupcakes.
