The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is tasked with the enormous responsibility with protecting the nation against terrorist and foreign intelligence threats. The daily operations of the FBI require the support of many applications and digital systems, resulting in staggering costs for power consumption, equipment cooling, hardware acquisition, operation, and maintenance.
BE provides VMWare Expertise, Database Design, and Operations and Management (O&M) support for the FBI’s Distributed Application Virtualization Environment (DAVE). DAVE is an award-winning data center consolidation platform that hosts over 100 projects used for worldwide operations and supports 500 currently active and growing virtual servers. DAVE virtualizes mission-critical applications such as Enterprise Data Warehouse, Microsoft Exchange Server, and SharePoint.
