SID FUCHS
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
One of the most highly respected leaders in the government technology industry, Sid Fuchs brings to Buchanan and Edwards deep expertise and insight gained through his 30-year record of success leading and building engineering and technology companies that deliver results ranging in size from $100M million to over $1.5 billion in annual revenue.
He is the former Chief Operating Officer of Alion Science and Technology, a leading National Security company with over 4,000 employees worldwide delivering more than $1 billion in innovative engineering, cybersecurity and product solutions to Defense, Intelligence, Homeland Security and Federal agencies. Prior to Alion, Sid was the President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company that provided innovative engineering and advanced product solutions to Defense, Intelligence, Homeland Security and Federal agencies. In 2018, MacB was acquired by Veritas Capital and merged with Alion Science & Technology, a Veritas Capital portfolio company.
Throughout his career, he has served as a CEO and board member in leading publically traded, private equity sponsored, and privately held corporations in a variety of business models to include R&D, engineering/IT services, product and solutions development, consulting and advisory, manufacturing, and hardware/software systems development and integration.
Mr. Fuchs received his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University and is a former CIA officer.
