This conference, sponsored by the Federal government Offices of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, was originally established in 1990 as the Procurement Opportunities Conference & Exposition. The purpose of the event is to provide networking and educational opportunities to small businesses interested in the procurement process. Large businesses with government contracts and federal government agencies are continually seeking to engage small, minority, 8(a), SDB, service-disabled veteran-owned, veteran-owned and women-owned businesses. The OSDBU Procurement Conference provides a platform for these entities to connect with quality vendors and subcontractors that are able to help them with their contracting needs and requirements.
